SUNDAY 9th SEPTEMBER
Wensleydale: Bainbridge to Hawes Summer Saunter
(Easy) 4½ miles
Follow the line of the railway via Sedbusk
Start: Bainbridge 1245. Finish: Hawes Market Place approx. 1515
Transport: Bus 875 from Wakefield 0915 and Leeds 0945, connection at Cracoe from bus X43 from Manchester 0810 and Skipton 1025.
Return: Bus 875 at 1630 to Leeds and Wakefield, connecting at Grassington with bus X43 at 1755 to Skipton and Manchester.

Swaledale: Gunnerside to Reeth
(Moderate) 7 miles
Start: Gunnerside 1110. Finish: Reeth approx. 1545
Transport: Bus 830 from Preston 0820 and Ribblehead 1030; connection at Ribblehead from 0859 train from Leeds. Bus 830 from Middlesbrough 0915 and Darlington 0955.
Return: Bus 830 at 1715 for train from Ribblehead at 1850, or bus 830 at 1715 to Darlington and Middlesbrough.

Gunnerside to Reeth, 7 miles, outward and returning on bus 830 from/to Ribblehead.

Dent to Sedbergh, 12 miles, returning on bus S1 to Dent.

Swaledale: Buttertubs and Lovers Gill Dales Adventure
(Strenuous) 6 miles Includes steep descent.
Start: Buttertubs 1115. Finish: Muker approx. 1530
Transport: Bus 830 from Preston 0820 and Ribblehead 1030. Connection at Ribblehead from 0859 train from Leeds.
Return: Bus 830 at 1740 for train from Ribblehead at 1850.

Scar House to Lofthouse
(Moderate) 6½ miles Some short uphill sections.
Via Middlesmoor and How Stean. Great views of Upper Nidderdale throughout. Chance to explore Middlesmoor. Experience one of the best picture book views in Nidderdale towards the end of the walk (weather permitting)
Start: Scar House 1215. Finish: Lofthouse approx. 1545
Transport: Bus 821 from Keighley 0905.
Return: Bus 821 to Keighley at 1600.

Dale to Dale: Scar House to Kettlewell Dales Adventure
(Strenuous) 11 miles
Start: Scar House 1150. Finish: Kettlewell approx. 1700
Transport: Bus 821 from Keighley 0905 and Otley 0955, connection at Otley from bus 874 from Wakefield 0840 and Leeds 0915.
Return: Bus 875 at 1730 to Leeds and Wakefield, connecting at Grassington with bus X43 at 1755 to Skipton.

National Trust Walk: Fountains Abbey to Brimham Rocks
(Moderate) 7½ miles
Start: Fountains Abbey Visitor Centre 1200. Finish: Brimham Rocks approx. 1600
Walk on the monks' way: step back in time and journey along the 7.5 mile historic route between Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks
Transport: Bus 822 from Selby 0850, York 0930 and Ripon 1030.
Return: Bus 825 at 1625 to Fountains Abbey and Ripon.
